"...She also said she would give him a kiss if he liked, but Peter did not know what she meant, and he held out his hand expectantly.
'Surely you know what a kiss is?' she asked aghast.
'I shall know when you give it to me,' he replied stiffly; and not to hurt his feelings she gave him a thimble.
'Now,' he said, 'shall I give you a kiss?" and she replied with a slight primness, 'If you please.' She inclined her face toward him, but he merely dropped an acorn into her hand; so she slowly returned her face to where it had been before, and said nicely that she would wear his kiss on the chain around her neck." ~J.M. Barrie, Peter Pan
This necklace chronicles Wendy's Adventures in Neverland with Peter Pan. The chain is made of glass crystals from Mermaid's lagoon and stars from the night sky. The main pendant features a picture of the Darling children and Peter Pan flying into Neverland; charms on the pendant include: the second star to the right, Tinkerbell and Tiger Lily's feather. On the chain, a little further up is Peter Pan's kiss; just as Wendy promised she'd wear it, so shall you!
Necklace measures 17"; pendant hangs a little lower. Please convo me if you want this lengthened or shortened or if you have any questions regarding this piece.
